Flexco recently announced the addition of the Flextreme PXT Secondary Belt Cleaner Cushion to its line of belt conveyor products. Specifically designed for extreme heavy-duty mining applications, the manufacturer noted, the PXT helps convey larger material tonnages at higher speeds, all while keeping belt conveyor systems clean.

“Mining operations across the globe are demanding longer P-Type Flextreme Cushion run times and higher throughput, and the PXT cushion delivers the durability and performance needed to meet these increasingly challenging requirements
The new cushion features a single-piece stainless steel body with a polyurethane dampener pressed into it. This patented design ensures superior durability while eliminating the risk of delamination. Additionally, the cushion is 15% lighter than the previous design, improving safety during maintenance by reducing manual handling effort.
The PXT cushion is fully compatible with existing P-type cleaners and can be used with Flexco standard and extra-life tungsten tips.
